Big Mike's Seasoning was established in 1991 by Mike Ehlis, professional meat cutter and avid outdoorsman for over 30 years. Mike's love and passion for nature and the outdoors inspired him to create this unique seasoning line. Mike's biggest challenge was to developed and produce a product that would enhance and compliment the flavor of wild game, beef, pork, fish , and poultry. His motto was " The Reason For The Seasoning". After years of blending various spices Big Mike finally struck gold. The first step of course was to try it out on family and friends and then on others. After tasting these blends all were in agreement and understood " The Reason For The Seasoning". Big Mike passed away in 2004 at the young age of 52 but left behind these special blends and seasonings for all to enjoy. In order to carry on the name the new owners Mike and Steve Carolus ( Father and Son) are carrying on the the passion of Big Mike and bringing these blends to your table.
